e-Liquid returns, refunds, quality and manufacturer testing

E-Liquid quality and compliance

Now that the TPD deadline of the 20th May 2017 has come and gone, we are pleased to confirm that you will only find TPD registered/approved e-liquid for sale on our website.

We only stock 0mg e-liquids and 'shortfills' from reputable brands and manufacturers that test their ingredients and comply with the European TPD. The ingredients in zero nicotine vape products are not currently regulated in quite the same way as those with nicotine, so it's important to be mindful of what you're using because there are many unregulated products on the market.

The TPD (European Tobacco Products Directive) involves the testing, registration and disclosure of ingredients in e-liquids containing nicotine.

We are satisfied that all the e-liquid you can buy in our store is produced in sterile conditions by professional manufacturing companies.

The companies we deal with will usually have the relevant certificates and safe working methods and compliance for their trade, these include ie ISO 2200:2005, MSDS (material safety data sheets), FDA (US Food and Drug Administration). Different manufacturers may require different documentation and may be regulated differently according to their country.

To the best of our knowledge, our e-liquid products only contain top grade (pharmaceutical) nicotine, propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG). Other ingredients include food grade natural and artificial flavours and in sweetners, where relevant.

BBF dates (best before dates) and expiry dates

We never knowingly sell liquid that is out of date. We try to keep a close eye on dates and our stock is carefully monitored on a regular basis, and it's kept in strict rotation. Where best before dates are approaching and a bulk order is received, we will usually contact the customer to discuss this.

E-Liquid descriptions and product images

The product descriptions and images on our website are there to illustrate as accurately as possible the product being offered for sale, but it is difficult to keep up with the constant change. We make every effort to ensure they sufficiently represent the item being described but they have been added as a convenience and the written word and quoted quantities take precedence over the images.

Returns and refunds

Please try a small quantity of e-liquid first time round to ensure you're happy with the flavour and the nicotine strength. For health and safety reasons, e-liquid can only be returned if there's a manufacturing defect or a quality issue. Be aware, your experience of any one e-liquid in terms of its flavour and vapour will differ according to the kit you're using, the coils, your general set-up and even your taste buds from one day to another.

Plastic tanks

Some ingredients in e-liquid can cause cracking, frosting or even melting of plastic tanks. Abrasive and acidic flavours and flavourings can cause problems and they include, but are not limited to, absinthe, cinnamon, spearmint, citrus fruit, cola etc. Please bear this in mind if you're using an e-cig with any type of plastic tank. Glass and metal tanks are impervious to these ingredients and are suitable for all e-liquids.
