Nicotine is a chemical compound that is derived from a tobacco plant, and there are different levels of quality, despite being 'pharma' grade. The addition of nicotine in e-liquid is there to help manage cravings after switching from smoking. Whether to use high nicotine e-liquids comes down to personal preference. The strength of the 'hit' will vary from person to person, and will be experienced differently with different vape devices (and vape coils) and the type (or blend) of e-liquid.
Not all vape devices are designed for use with high strength nicotine e-liquids; sub-Ohm devices (and their coils) are often too powerful for high doses of nicotine and will hit far too hard even on a low setting.
