VG is short for vegetable glycerine and it's this thicker VG fluid in e-liquid that produces more vapour, and is also known for being smoother.
50 50 blends are usually very versatile, however, when used with some devices the flavour can be muted. We recommend that 50VG e-liquids be used with a device where you can adjust the power up and down with the aim of reaching that 'sweet spot', or a device with the option of a range of different coils so you can tailor your vaping more to your preference.
Saying that, many users do not have the luxury of variable wattage or different coils, nor airflow, but 50/50 suits them just fine. As always, it's trial and error so just buy a very small amount of any one flavour until you're happy with your choice.
